The Apuntes are perhaps the winery's most unique wines. Spontaneous and unpredictable in nature, their concepts emerge during the harvest, driven by Javier’s instincts and responses to the grapes he brings into the winery, and influenced by references he has accumulated over years of tasting wines from other places. One-off, and unrepeatable, these single edition wines sit outside of the Arizcuren catalogue, giving us the freedom to do things a little differently and to tread new ground in Rioja winemaking.
