Traditional varieties Garnacha, Mazuelo and Tempranillo from the village of Quel (between 530m and 600m above sea-level). Harvested by hand and aged in French oak barrels and concrete tanks.

Monte Gatún White

Monte Gatún are our village wines. They come from plots of our vineyard in Quel, on the slopes of their namesake mountain, the highest in the Sierra de Yerga. This white edition is made from old-vine Viura grapes.

Our village rose, made from Garnacha grapes using the saignée (bleeding) method and aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for 5 months.

Solomazuelo Ánfora

Sologarnacha

Garnacha was the predominant grape in Rioja Baja until no more than 30 years ago and, with this single varietal, we set out to showcase its qualities in a specific location, on the northern slopes of the Sierra de Yerga.

Finca El Foro

A rare glimpse of the diversity that once typified Quel’s viticulture. Six different grape varieties share this plot of just 0.7 hectares, nestled on a slope of the Sierra de Yerga, at an altitude of 600m. This single-vineyard wine demonstrates how such varietal diversity can produce distinctive character in the bottle.

Barranco del Prado

This single-vineyard wine is made with Garnacha, calagraño and tinto velasco grapes from Barranco del Prado, a pre-phylloxera vineyard at 750 m above sea level, planted on ungrafted vines at the end of the 19th century by Julián's grandfather, and tended for last 60 years by Julián. This unique plot is a living testimony to the historic cultivation of Garnacha in the Yerga mountain range.
