“This truly conveys a sense of belonging” James Suckling 2025 report
Arizcuren wines have been recognized by James Suckling with outstanding scores in his latest tasting.
Barranco del Prado 2023 stands out with 95 points, praised for its vibrant nose of wild berries, red plums, hibiscus, and pronounced mineral character, along with precise tannins and a long, clean finish.
Close behind, Finca El Foro 2023 scores 94 points, described as ethereal and noble, with wild raspberries, grapefruit, botanicals, and a spicy profile that clearly conveys a sense of place, without interference from excessive fruit or oak.
With 93 points, Solomazuelo 2023 and Sologarnacha 2023 confirm the elegance and finesse of the range, showing aromas of violets, red fruits, minerality, and finely integrated tannins. Apunte nº9 2022, a serious and refined rosé, stands out for its volume, length, and very limited production of just 900 bottles.
Rounding out the selection is Monte Gatún 2023, with 91 points—a lively, expressive, and straightforward wine designed for drinking now, featuring fresh fruit and a bright, refreshing finish.
